Dear BICnet Family,

As you know, the Internet is growing at a fast and furious pace and BICnet has always striven to not only provide you with fast reliable access, but alow a host of other features and services to enhance your Internet experience. In order to meet this goal, BICnet has made the decision to merge its customer base with NetWay (http://www.netway.com). By merging our customer base with NetWay we will be able to enhance your service even more!

We are committed to making this just as easy as possible in fact we have already seamlessly integrated you onto NetWay's service, all that remains is for you to simply change the telephone number that you are dialing.

Starting this week, we will begin the process of migrating from the current dial-up numbers to NetWay's numbers, with the aim of having all customers transferred to NetWay's network by Friday February 9th. We have attached a list of dial-up numbers from which to choose your new local number from. If you have any difficulties determining which number is local for you, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you. You may feel free to change your access number at any time if you feel comfortable doing so. If you do not feel comfortable changing the number on your own feel free to call our Technical Support Department (978-772-9500) and we will be happy to assist you in updating your number. We will also be contacting all of you to assist you with this change and to answer any questions you may have.

BICnet chose to merge with NetWay for many reasons, not the least of which is their commitment to their customers and to provide the type and level of service and support to which we know our customers have become accustomed. We also chose NetWay because of the speed and reliability of their multi-homed network, which is connected to the Internet via a T3 backbone. NetWay is committed to providing the highest quality Internet service available and was voted one of the best ISP's by C/net. Many of NetWay's plans offer addition services and features and some plans are even less expensive than what you are currently paying! Any savings will be applied automatically, starting with the March 1, 2001 billing.

Current e-mail and homepage addresses will be seamlessly aliased to the new servers at NetWay, so no changes will be required on your end for these services. The following are the new network settings, which may need to be changed depending on your system settings. If you have any difficulty modifying any of these settings please do not hesitate to contact our Technical Support Department who will assist you.

Primary DNS: server assigned
Secondary DNS: server assigned
News Server: news.netway.com

As of March 1st, you will begin to receive your Internet access bills from NetWay. Bills from NetWay are sent on the 8th of the month for the next month's service, and credit cards are debited on the 1st of each month.

The numbers and e-mail addresses you currently use to contact us will remain in effect, and NetWay will be sending you information on their direct contact information and hours of operation.

All of us at BICnet have truly enjoyed having each of you as a customer. We have always considered our customers more like friends and family, so after looking at the many benefits that this will bring to each of you the decision was easier to make. We have every confidence that the staff at NetWay will make your experience as special as we have always tried to make it. I hope that you will be pleasantly surprised with the speed and reliability of the new network and the dedication of the NetWay staff. If you have any questions or additional information please feel free to contact me directly.

For the entire staff of AICS/BICnet, sincerely,

James Sweatt
President
